Visa for Russia

The most important thing to know is that you cannot obtain a visa to enter Russia on arrival.

Most hotels in Russia will provide some assistance in initiating the visa application process. They may be able to provide a “voucher” which must be presented along with any application for a Russian visa. There is a cost for the visa voucher and once you have the voucher from the hotel, you then begin the application process in your own country.
